Up against the Zwift Academy and Off-the-Maap series, RGT are launching the Giro d’Europa. This is an opportunity to discover the physics and dynamics of group riding on RGT Cycling. It’s also a chance for the addicted Zwifter to get Strava distance and speed realism when virtual cycling. In fact, it might be like dropping into an addiction clinic!!
How it works:
Everyone does weekly race events and you need to be up to the challenge of 5 days in a row
The RGT team present the Giro d’Europa, one of the few online multi-day race/group ride opportunities. The Giro d’Europa is a 5-day event and features the fantastic real roads of the RGT Cycling Platform.
A word of warning, RGT works best with an Apple TV 4k, or a gaming PC with a decent graphics card – and good broadband – not your bargain basement wet copper-wire to the exchange connection!!
Each day will take you to a new location as RGT Cycling showcase these fantastic routes. Each event can be raced as a one-off or you can test yourself on repeated days and challenge for the general classification.
Top Live-Streaming team at ZMS Live Stream!
The rider with the lowest total time across the five events will be crowned the overall winner. This is an individual competition, encourage your team mates to race, but it will be everyone for themselves. Partnering with virtual cycling’s premier global livestream team, ZMS Live Stream, Mike Lister and his team will be broadcasting every 7pm BST race on Facebook and Youtube.
If you aren’t riding, or riding, we encourage you to tune in, follow the excellent commentary and look for yourself on the big screen. Don’t forget to share the links with friends and families too and give them a wave! A prize draw will take place at the end of each stage, with some fantastic prizes on offer. The winner will be announced on the broadcast. You can find more info and sign up links here – https://rgtdb.com/series/girodeuropa
