For years, I have been the advocate of a sturdy music stand for my media devices when indoor-cycling. When I checked out the mighty Wahoo’s version, I was tempted and yet, no compelled.
KOM Cycling are not shy of manufacturing high quality cycling peripherals and here is a link to what they have to offer https://komcycling.com
For the indoor cycling market, KOM Cycling make a rocker plate and their latest offering is this media table. This is what it has to offer and what we have discovered using it.
Essentially what you have is high grade strong moulded plastic as a table, affixed to a PA style stand. The telescopic stand is robust and highly adjustable. As a 1.98 metre tall person, I can easily use this media table to DJ and as a standing working from home desk!
My normal position for a media table is to my left-hand-side and this solid piece of furniture even hold me after an emergency grab after an hour on the rollers when my hands tend to go numb!
The grippy top to the media table is a real winner for me. I’m so used to knocking things off, that this being a level of satisfaction, where you media and devices stay where they should be. So grippy is the top, that it is surprising just how far the stands has to be tipped to dislodge anything.
Whether you are using a MacBook or iPad to view your virtual training platform of the day, the KOM Cycling Media table caters for your needs. For those using a large flat-screen TV on a stand as their viewing preference; the Media Table at your side will hold your iPhone, Apple TV remote, keyboard, mouse (you may need a mouse mat as the non-slip mat is a challenge for a mouse).
At $59.99 this is, in our humble opinion, a very decent price for something so well thought out and so well made. Bear-in-mind that this is not a single use product – I did state in all seriousness that this works as a working from home standing desk.
It’s a big thumbs up from us and even if you are adept at DIY, why not use that time making one, to get more training in and enjoy the design and function of this product from KOM Cycling?
