Black Friday is approaching tomorrow, here is a small selection of the offers which are floating around this year when it comes to Cycling Black Friday Deals and indoor cycling too

Cycling Gadgets and Tech Black Friday Deals 2019
Smart Trainers
4iiii Fliiiight Smart Trainer
To start off the Cycling Black Friday Deals, let’s look at trainers. Whilst I haven’t received a review unit yet, I have had the chance to get hands-on with the 4iiii Fliiiight at both at Eurobike where I frankly thought that the unit was my mental “Gadget of Eurobike”
The 4iiiii Fliiiight is actually a wheel-on trainer, which might seem a bit strange for me to be championing, as we all know that the direct-drive units where we removed the wheel are the best smart trainers. However, as with any product, best, depends on what you are needing it for. Wheel-on units are routinely used as second trainers, or warm-up trainers at events, where the 4iiii is certainly going to have an advantage as the trainer contains an internal battery, so you’ll be able to get all of the resistance you want, and not have the faff with cables or manual resistance triggers.

But there is more, and this is why I fell in love with the 4iiii flight from a technical perspective, the trainer doesn’t touch your wheel, so no tyre wear. Resistance is generated by two magnets either side of the rear wheel. Which electronically change their proximity to the metal brake track of the rear wheel to produce the resistance. The brilliant side effect of this is it is the only trainer with a ZERO dB claim. The only noise you’ll get here is from your chain and the air going through your rear wheel

4iiii are doing a deal this Black Friday – the Fliiiight in spite of having only just been released, and with an RRP of £480, will be on offer at CyclePowerMeters.com, for £399, so an £80 saving.
However, they are also going to be bundling one of my most often used HRM units, the 4iiii Viiiiva (review here) saving another £80
Completing the bundle will be 1 month of

Whilst the main focus of the turbo trainer market is moving towards direct-drive units, there is still a place for wheel on units, and that is very much in terms of getting riding indoors at some of the lowest prices. If you want to check out Wahoo’s Black Friday KICKR SNAP deal – your link is here

Helmets
The Lumos Helmet – is one of my most used pieces of kit. Particularly as the nights have drawn in, I’m very glad to have the extra lights sitting on top of my head, to helpfully mean that I won’t have a THIRD cyclist vs car incident in three years

Since their original kickstart helmet went live, Lumos has also produced a follow-up helmet, focused more towards commuters – the Lumos Matrix, featuring a MASSIVE bank of LEDS on the rear. If you are commuting in the dark, I’d strongly suggest you check out the preview reviews of the Lumos Matrix here, and the Lumos Kickstarter HERE
If then you feel you need a few more lights in your cycling life, their Black Friday offers from Lumos are here
Hammerhead Karoo Cycling GPS

Perhaps one of the more recent surprises for the cycling GPS market has been the Hammerhead Karoo GPS unit. Essentially an android phone on your handlebars, with the option of using a sim card as well, the Hammerhead really is unlike anything else in the market.
If you are thinking of a cycling GPS unit, especially for navigation, and not already in a companies ecosystem, I strongly suggest taking a look at the Hammerhead Karoo – my review is here
The recent inclusion of the ability to use a Garmin Radar unit, has made the Hammerhead a more compelling purchase for many people

The Hammerhead Black Friday deal is:
- $150 Off (Just $249!)
- 90-Day Return Window (Usually 45 days. We want people who buy for Christmas to still get the same huge return window to ensure they love the product!)
The deal will run from the night of Wednesday 27th, at 9pm, and run to early morning Tuesday, December 3rd. So it’s really Black Friday through Cyber Monday, but with a small buffer either side

SeeSense ACE Bike Light
The winter is here, the days are short and the nights are long. If you are out on the bike you want to be seen. Given their recent successes with smart lights, the SeeSense team is moving house – well offices anyway.
To help reduce the volume of items needed to be moved, SeeSense is having a flash sale on the ACE

You can see my review of the SeeSense ACE here
As for the offer, SeeSense will be dropping the price by 30%, meaning you can pick up a rear light for £30.
